~- <br />' Mr. Dave Stout <br />April 4, 1988 <br />Page 2 <br />Demand is hereby made on behalf of the Colorado Division of Wildlife for <br />payment of $71,680.00, representing the total minimum value of game fish <br />destroyed. <br />Please be advised that the Division has been coordinating their investiga- <br />tion with the Mined Land Reclamation Division of the State Department of <br />Natural Resources and the Water Quality Control Division of the State Depart- <br />ment of Health. Both of these agencies will be contacting you soon. When <br />you have received correspondence from these agencies, it may be appropriate <br />for representatives of the Wyoming Fuel Company to meet with representatives <br />of all three State agencies to discuss an appropriate resolution of the <br />violations involved in the release of Nalco 8852 and the resulting fish <br />kill. If you would wish to discuss such a mutual resolution, please contact <br />Area Wildlife Manager Ron Velarde (719-561-4909) or Wildlife Program Spe- <br />cialist John Woodling (303-291-7224).
