Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />RE: Keenesburg Strip Mine, Permit No. C-1981-028, Third Quarter 2007 Sediment Pond Inspection <br />Report <br />Dear Mr. MacDonald, <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety have reviewed Coors Energy Company's <br />Third quarter 2007 Sediment Pond Inspection Report. CEC's third quarter 2007 sediment pond report <br />was received by the division on Nov 02, 2007. Timely submittal of these reports is in compliance with <br />Rule 4.05.9(17). Sediment pond inspections were conducted by CEC on September 13, 2007. <br />No significant problems were noted for any of the impoundments in the report. No discharge from any <br />of the ponds was reported. All impoundments with the exception of the Dugout Pond held small pools <br />of water. CEC did not identify any maintenance required as a result of this inspection.
