Nolan, MD. MPH
Executive Director
Tlus letter is in response to your call. You had asked about the need for a stormwater petTnit for
the gravel pit and septic tank manufacturing site near G50 and G Road in Dena County.
I visited the site on Apri120, 1994. The site was graded and termed such that all runoff would
remain ensile and no nmoff would leave the site. If all runoff from the operation is contained
onsite, with no discharge expected, a stormwater permit is not requved.
Please keep in mind that any change in this situation would require application for a stormwater
peLmit, at least 30 days prior to any discharge taking place.
If you have any questions, please contact me at 248-7150.
Sinc//erely//, __~ ii
/'1~'~
am P.
