CEC's second quarter 2006 sediment pond report was received by the Division on July 3, 2006.
Timely submittal of these reports is in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17). Sediment pond inspections were
conducted by CEC on June 29, 2006.
No significant problems were noted for any of the impoundments in the report. No dischazge from any of
the ponds was noted and all but the sewage lagoon were dry. CEC did not identify any maintenance required
as a result of this inspection. Burrows were noted at the dugout pond, however, the burrows were noted as
permanent features and are in a designated wildlife use area. Thank you for your timely submittal of the
quarterly sediment pond inspection report.
Sincerely,
Janet Bi s
Environ ental Protection Specialist
C:/jhbJC81028/Inspections/2nd Q 2006 5ed pond insp.doc
Office of Office of Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Active and Inactive Mines Geological Survey
