10/27/94
To : Marcus Middleton
From: Rick Tifft
Subject : 1994 Water Monitor Wells
Pursuant to our meeting yesterday with Vladimir
Straskraba and Barbra Pavlik the locations and monitor well
horizons will be as follows :
Peds-10, Sec 12 , South center of the SW 1/4 ,
Wht SS , total unit is estimated to be from 427 ' -
756 ' . The lower bench will be monitored. It is
planned that this will be the first drill location
for B&B drilling Co. It is planned that the lower
section of the hole will be grouted up to the base
of the Wht. SS . A layer of bentonite is planned on
top of the grout to preclude water contamination .
Peds-9 , Sec 13 , NE1/4 , of the SW1/4 . Wht SS , total unit is
estimated at 222 ' -551 ' . The lower bench will be
monitored. It is planned that this location will be
the first for Western American Drilling . This
location is planned as a twined hole .
Peds-20 , Sec 12 , NW1/4 , of SE1/4 , The well is to be
completed in the middle SS , at approximately 1839 ' -
1959 ' . Permits are not expected on this location
until approximately Dec 1 .
Peds-2 , Sec 14 , NE1/4 of SW14 , 20mile SS completion , from
approximately 1039 ' -1174 ' . Work on this location is
restricted until after hunting season ( 'mid-Nov) .
Let me know if this is not how you understand the
proposed monitor well program. We also both need to inspect
all well equipment early next week to ensure everything is on
site and the proper use of the equipment and installation
techniques are understood.
cc : A.Schissler /
