Revised 3-24-07 <br />EXHI$IT B -Site Description (6.3.2) IRevisedl <br />(a) A copy of a soil survey obtained from the NRCS, National Cooperative Soil <br />Survey is attached. The vegetation of the site consists primazily of ponderosa <br />pine and juniper with limited forb and shrub growth. <br />(b) A storage shed is located within 200 feet of the affected area. It is in disrepair <br />and not considered significant by its owner. The structure belongs to the <br />landowner, John Martinez. <br />A damage compensation agreement with Mr. Martinez is attached as a <br />revision to this section. <br />A further revision is the inclusion of Archuleta County Road 391 as a <br />permanent man-made structure. It is located within 200 feet of the <br />proposed mining limits. An engineering evaluation is presented in revised <br />Exhibit B. <br />(c) As shown on Exhibit E, the primary water resource in the area is the Navajo <br />River to the south of the site. Drainage from the affected area currently feeds <br />into the Navajo River. No published information regarding flow rates or water <br />quality was found for this reach of the river. <br />
