<br />x. Oil and Grease Monitoring
<br />For every outfall with oil and grease monitoring, in the even[ an oil sheen or floating oil is observed, a grab sample shall
<br />be collected, analyzed, and reported on the appropriate DMR. In addition, corrective action shall be taken immediately
<br />to mitigate the discharge of oil and grease. A description of the corrective action taken should be included with the
<br />DMR.
<br />Self-monitoring sampling by the permittee for compliance with the monitoring requirements specified above shall be
<br />perfornted a[ the following locations: Outfalls 002, 003, 004, 005, 006, 008, 009, 010, OI 1, 0 ] 2, 013, 014, 015, 016 and 017
<br />a[ Ote outfalls of the sedimentation ponds prior to entering the immediate receiving waters.
<br />If the permittee, using the approved analytical methods, monitors any parameter more frequently than required by this permit,
<br />[hen the results of such monitoring shall be included in the calculation and reporting of the values required in the Discharge
<br />Monitoring Report Form (DMRs) or other forms as required by the Division. Such increased frequency shall also be
<br />indicated.
<br />Monitoring Exemptimts:
<br />For Outfalls 004, 005, 008, 009, Ol 1, 014, O I5, 016 and 017, during the winter season, monitoring may be suspended at the
<br />pemtittee's option when adverse weather conditions prohibit safe access to one or more of these discharge points at the
<br />. frequencies specified in this subpart. Monitoring shall recommence at the first opportunity after such inaccessibility ends
<br />When inaccessibility prevents sample collection, the permiftee shall document what monitoring was missed and the specific
<br />conditions [hat prevented access in cover letters to the appropriate Discharge Monitoring RepotYS. For Outfalls 002, 003,
<br />004, 005, 006. 008, OI O, 011, 012, 013, 014, 076 and 017, the pennittee is exempted from the chronic WET testing frequency
<br />of 3 grabs test if effluent discharges cease before the end of the monitoring period (see Part LAb.a). For Outfalls 013, 014
<br />and 017, weekly monitoring for pH and flow may be exempted, based upon demonstration of inaccessibility.
