We sympathize with your concerns and
appreciate your efforts in bringing this to our attention. We have reviewed
our file and conducted an inspection of the operation on July 11, 1991. A
copy of that inspection report is attached which references problems noted at
the site during the inspection and corrective actions required. Samples of
water from Twin Creek were taken during the inspection both upstream and
downstream for the operation. A copy of the Colorado Department of Health lab
report from analysis of the downstream sample is attached. That analysis
indicated no evidence of hydrocarbons in the stream at the time of sampling.
We will keep you informed of any further actions taken or anticipated in
regard to your complaint. Please call me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
i
` j @~YrL2a ~~-~~etiv~
James C.
