This parcel is located in E1 Paso County, south of the <br />town of Fountain, Colorado. The purpose of the mining operation <br />is primarily to provide gravel and fill materials for City <br />construction projects. The operation will be a dry, open pit <br />method. <br />The City will provide the required Performance Warranty according <br />to the Rules and Regulations of the Board, prior to issuance of <br />the permit. <br />Concurrent with this submittal, the City has sent a copy of this <br />enclosed application to the E1 Paso County Clerk and Recorder. <br />Within ten days, the City will publish in the Gazette Telegraph <br />and notify the adjacent landowners and the local Soil <br />Conservation Board. A copy will also be available for public <br />review at the Penrose Public Library in Colorado Springs. The <br />Soil Conservation Service and the Division of Wildlife have been <br />contacted regarding this application. <br /> <br />30 S.
