Canany <br />g, Division Direttor <br /> Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Trapper Mine, C-81-010, Third Quarter 2004 Sediment Pond Inspection Reports <br />Deaz Mr. Mattern: <br />The Division has reviewed Trapper Mining Inc.'s Third Quarter 2004 Sediment Pond Inspection reports. <br />TMI's third quarter 2004 sediment pond reports were received by the Division on October 5, 2004. Timely <br />submittal of these reports is in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17). Sediment pond inspections were <br />conducted by TMI on September 28 and 29, 2004. <br />The majority of the ponds were dry during the third quarter inspection. Only one pond, No Name No. 5, <br />was reported discharging at the NPDES point at the time of inspection. Middle Flume No. 3 was in the <br />process of sediment clean out at he time of the inspection. Water from Middle Flume Pond No. 3 was <br />pumped to Middle Flume Pond No. 1. Middle Flume Pond No. 1 was not dischazging. Construction for <br />West Horse Pond has been completed.
