Outfall 003
stopped discharging on March 10 prior to a grab sample being obtained for lab parameters. That sample would have included
the required quarterly TDS sample. On one of the samples for Outfall 022, Zinc-TR was not requested. The reported statistics
demonstrate that these sites were visited per permit requirements, but the correct parameters were not tested. The tracking
system, set up to catch these missed samples or lab parameters, is being modified to ensure all errors are detected prior to
the end of the frequency period. All personnel involved will be retrained regarding the requirements imposed by this discharge
permit.
Chronic Whole Effluent Toxicity (WET) testing was performed at Outfalls 003 and 022 and indicated no toxicity to P. promelas
or C. dubia. The "Concentration with Statistically Significant Difference in Lethality" was >100% for both species at each
Outfall. Copies of the CDPS W ET Test Report Forms for both species are included in the submittal.
Outfalls 004, 007, 009, 011, 012, 013, 014, 015, 016, 017, 018, 019, 020, 021, 023 and 024 along with Site 3001 did not
discharge during this period. In order to reduce the amount of paper work, the following certification will be substituted for the
actual DMR forms to cover the out(alls which did not discharge.
CERTIFICATION
I certify under penalty o/law that I have personally examined and am /amiliar with the information submitted herein; and
based on my inquiry o1 those individuals responsible for obtaining the in/ormation, I believe the submitted information is
true, accurate, and complete.
