The conditions to be addressed are: <br />1. T the operator have a professional stability investigation <br />ormed at the tailings dam and a suitable design be provided for <br />future expansion. , <br />2. 'Chat the operator provide staff with a water quality analysis of~ rcU'°~ <br />~~ <br />the water in the pond (once milling begins), baseline water quality <br />of the stream above the pond, and from the stream down gradientfrom <br />the toe. (The frequency and chemical data required under your NPDES <br />permit will be acceptable.). Also, iE seepage from the toe of the <br />embankment occur, it tno shall be sampled. <br />3. That a specific plan for stabilization and reclamation of the ~ ~.X~ <br />tailings pond be caorked out with the staff. ~'~ <br />
