HCM 87-5 ~EG` NATION DIVISIOI~~ <br />Planning Department No. C56-86 <br />GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR GRAVEL EXTRACTS N <br />AND PROCESSING ACTIVITIES (SUNNYSIDE PIT) <br />WHEREAS, Parkerson Construction, Inc., sought t have <br />a conditlonal use permit for gravel extraction and proses ing <br />actlvit Ses on the following described land situated in th <br />County of Mesa, State of Colorado, to wit: <br />(See attached) <br />end <br />WHEREAS, the hearing before the Board of County <br />Commissioners was held January 6, 1987, <br />NOW T)EREFORE, THE GUARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER OF <br />THE COUNTY OF MESA FINDS AS FOLLOWS: <br />' That the hearing before the Board was held afte <br />proper notice; <br />That the staff recommendation was approval subj ct to <br />the following conditions: <br />1. That a State Highway Permit be obtained. <br />2. That a more detailed reseeding plan be <br />submitted to the Agricultural Extension <br />Agent For review end approval. <br />3. An upper limit be set on the number of <br />truck trips per day. <br />That the Mese County Planning Commission <br />approval subject to the following: <br />staff comments, <br />That the conditional use met with relevant Mes <br />County Land Use Policies including the Mineral Extractio <br />Policies end guidelines in Chapter 10 of the Mesa County <br />Development Code. <br />That the conditlonal use is in accordance with the <br />health, Safety and welfare of the residents of Mesa Coun y. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF <br />COMMISSIONERS IN THE COUNTY OF MESA, STATE OF COLORADO, <br />the conditional use permit is approved subject to the Fc <br />conditions: <br />1. That a State Highway Permit be obtained. <br />2. That a detailed reseeding plan be <br />submitted to the Agricultural Extension <br />Agent fot review and approval. <br />Ilowing <br />3.
