Permeability is <br />slow, available water capacity is high, surface and runoff is <br />rapid. Some areas of the soil are used for grazing and rec- <br />reation. Other areas are used for irrigated crops, such as hay, <br />pasture, small grains and orchards. The soil is not suitable for <br />crops which require a long growing season. <br />Cerro loam - deep, well drained soil, formed in old <br />landslide deposits and glacial outwash, covers alluvial fans, <br />terraces and mountain side slopes.
