Section (1)(d) also incorporates comments received from
the agencies.
Information regazding wildlife within the project area has been obtained by contacting the
USFWS, CDOW, CNHP, and by conducting a site visit. The USFWS regulates
federally-listed threatened and endangered species, the CDOW manages wildlife in the
state of Colorado, and the CNHP provides information on species occurrences within
Colorado.
Threatened, Endangered, and Wildlife Species of Special Concern within
the Project Area
The USFWS provided a list of potentially occurring federally-listed threatened and
endangered species (Cazlson 2001) and CDOW provided a list of potentially occun•ing
state species of special concern (Kaczmazek 2001, Kaczmazek 1999) within the project
• area.
