LAFARGE
NORTH AMERICA
Construction Materials
2 SUMMARY OT CURRENT RESULTS
2.1 Measurement and Data Handling
Using the field data logs for each well, in addition to the specified standard procedures,
groundwater elevation data has been collected between the dates of October 2002 and August
2004. See included well log sheets in Appendix A. With almost two years of data, exceeding
the Division recommended minimum of five quarters of monitoring, the next phase of the project
can now begin.
2.2 Data Analysis and Interpretation
Data from the time period between October 2002 and August 2004 will be the baseline pre-
mining data points. Mining data points will be compazed to these values to determine if
mitigation efforts aze necessary. The lazgest and the smallest data points for each well were first
reviewed foi• accuracy. No outliers were identified; all recorded data fell within seasonal
expectations. The tolerance limits, the smallest and lazgest values of the data, were then
determined. The upper and lower tolerance limit for each well is summarized in the table below:
Tolerance Limit
Well Lower U er
1 4866.83 4872.23
2 4866.23 4871.02
3 4866.30 4867.63
4 4870.18 4871.32
The collected data will be analyzed against the baseline monthly to determine compliance, and
then will be added to the baseline for the following month's analysis.
LAFARGE NORTH AMERICA INC. -Lafarge Construction Materials
1400 West 64U Avenue, Denver, Cobrado 80221
Telephone: (303) 657-4000 Facsimile: (303) 657-4037
