4.02 SIGNS AND MARKERS <br />4.02.1 Specifications <br />Colowyo has posted and will maintain all signs and markers required by this section. All of <br />the signs are of uniform design and can be easily seen or read. The signs are made either of <br />metal or wood; they are durable enough to withstand extreme climatic conditions that are <br />inherent at the operations. The signs conform with local ordinances and codes. <br />Colowyo will maintain signs and markers during the conduct of all activities to which they <br />pertain. <br />4.02.2 Mine and Permit Identification Siens <br />Appropriate signs identifying the mine area are displayed at the point of access to the permit <br />area from Highway 13/789. These signs indicate the name, business address, and telephone <br />number of Colowyo and identification numbers of mining and reclamation permits. <br />4.02.3 Perimeter Markers <br />The perimeter of the permit area is clearly marked with metal signs and/or wire fencing <br />where appropriate. Additional markers include steel fence posts painted orange or capped <br />with PVC caps painted orange. <br />. 4.02.4 Duration of Maintenance <br />Colowyo will maintain signs and markers throughout the life of the operation or post new <br />signs and markers as necessary. <br />4.02.5 Stream Buffer Zone Markers <br />All major operations near Good Spring Creek have ceased.
