Momson Knudsen Corporation
• January 7, 1997
Page 5
off of cut faces and to the storm water collection system. Any indication of slope movement
such as tension cracks near the top of the slope or bulging near the toe should also be observed
by a qualified person.
The proper engineering of potentially detrimental conditions is critical to the satisfactory
performance of the cut and fill slopes on this project. The results of the stability analysis
assume dry conditions similar to those encountered in our previous field investigations. The
occurrence and magnitude of ground water seeps or other instabilities will probably vary
throughout the site. The design and consttvction of any mitigative action should be done on a
case by case basis to assure that each situation is properly corrected.
We trust that this information is of use to you.
