<br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />Page 2 <br />Permit No. COG-500000 <br />CDPS GENERAL PERMIT <br />FOR SAND AND GRAVEL MINING AND PROCESSING <br />(AND OTHER NONMETALLIC MIlVERALS EXCEPT FUEL) <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DISCHARGE UNDER THE <br />COLORADO DISCHARGE PERMIT SYSTEM <br />s <br />' In compliance with the provisions of the Colorado Water Quality Control Act, (25-8-101 et seq., CRS, <br />1973 as amended) and the Federal Water Pollution Control Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.; the <br />'Act"), this permit authorius the discharge of process water and stormwater associated with operadons <br />engaged in mining and processing of sand and gravel (including rock and stone used as aggregate), and <br />mining and quarrying of other nonmetallic minerals except fuels, certified under this permit, from those <br />locations specified throughout the State of Colorado to specified waters of the State. Such discharges <br />shall be in accordance with the conditions of this permit. <br />This permit specifically authorius the facility listed on page 1 of this permit to discharge process water <br />and/or stormwater associated with operations engaged in mining and processing of sand and gravel <br />(inc]uding rock and stone used as aggregate), and mining and quarrying of other nonmetallic minerals <br />except fuels, as of this date, in aceordance with the permit requirements and conditions set forth in Parts <br />I and II hereof.
