Cushman-Breeser area <br />I9oderately deep and deep, nearly level to strongly eloping soils with <br />sandy clay loam subsoils. <br />This soil area is in the northeastern part of the survey area and . <br />occupies about 3 percent of the total acreage. About 35 percent of the <br />area is Cushman soils and 35 percent Bresser soils. The remaining 30 <br />percent is soils of minor extent. <br />The Cushman soil is on interbedded sandstone and shale at a depth <br />of 20 to ly0 inches. The Breeser soil is deeper than 40 inches to ax~y <br />restrictive layer, usually 60 inches or more. <br />The minor soils in this area ere the well drained Butch, Louviers, <br />Nunn, Razor, and Truckton soils. <br />About 65 percent of this soil area is used for livestock grazing <br />and wildlife habitat. The other 35 percent is used for dryland farming. <br />r <br />aG <br />
