Permit No.: CO-0O~15225 <br />Counry: Teller <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DISCHARGE UNDER THE <br />COLORADO DISCHARGE PERMIT SYSTEM <br />In compliance with the provisions of the Colorado Water Q•.i ~ ^onlrol Acl, (25-8-101 et seq., CRS, 1973 az amended) and the <br />Federal Water Pollution Control Act, az amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.; the 'Act'), <br />THE CRIPPLE CREEK & VICTOR GOLD MINING COMPANY <br />is authorized to discharge from the discharge points identified in this permit, which are associated with the Cresson Mine <br />Project located in Sections 19 and 30, T15S, R69W, and Sections 25 and 36 oC TISS, R70W, to Squaw Gulch in accordance <br />with effluent limitations, monitoring requirements and other conditions set forth in Part I and [I hercof. All discharges authorized <br />hercin shall be consistent with the terms and conditions of this permit. <br />The applicant may demand an adjudiratory hearing within thirty (30) days of the issuance of the final permit determination, per the <br />Regulations for the State Discharge Permit System, 6.8.0 (1). Should the applicant choose to contest any of the effluent limitations, <br />monitoring requirements or other conditions contained herein, the applicant must comply with Section 24~-104 CRS 1973 and the <br />Regulations for the State Discharge Permit System. Failure to contest any such effluent limitation, monitoring requirement, or <br />other condition, coastimtes consent to the condition by the Applicant. <br />This permit and the authorization to discharge shall expire at midnight, August 31, 2002. <br />Issued and Signed this day of <br />COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND THE ENVIRONMENT <br />J.
