2. ChanEe in Discharge
The permittee shall notify the Division, in writing, of any planned physical alterations or additions to the permi«ed
facility. Notice is required only when:
a. The alteration or addition could significantly change the nature or increase the quantity or pollutants discharged;
or
b. The alteration or addition results in a significant change in the permittee's sludge use or disposal practices, and
such alteration, addition, or change may justify the application of permit conditions that aze different from or
absent in the ettistmg permit, including notification of additional use or disposal sites not reported pursuant to an
approved land application plan.
The permittee shall give advance notice [o the Division of any planned changes in the permitted facility or activity
which may result in noncompliance with permit requirements.
Whenever notification of any planned physical alterations or additions to the permitted facility is required pursuant to
this section„ the permittee shall furnish the Division such plans and specifications which the Division deems reasonably
necessary to evaluate the effect on the discharge, the stream, or ground water. If the Division fords that such new or
altered discharge might be inconsistent with the conditions of the permit, the Division shall require a new or reviscd
permit application and shall follow the procedures specified in Sections 6.6.0 through 6.7.0, and 6.16.0 of the
Regulations for the State Discharge Permit System.
