Notification to Parties <br />All notification requirements under this section shall be directed as follows: <br />a. ChanEe in Discharge <br />The permittee shall notify the Division, in writing, of any planned physical alterations or additions to the permi«ed <br />facility. Notice is required only when: <br />a. The alteration or addition could significantly change the nature or increase the quantity or pollutants discharged; <br />or <br />b. The alteration or addition results in a significant change in the permittee's sludge use or disposal practices, and <br />such alteration, addition, or change may justify the application of permit conditions that aze different from or <br />absent in the ettistmg permit, including notification of additional use or disposal sites not reported pursuant to an <br />approved land application plan. <br />The permittee shall give advance notice [o the Division of any planned changes in the permitted facility or activity <br />which may result in noncompliance with permit requirements. <br />Whenever notification of any planned physical alterations or additions to the permitted facility is required pursuant to <br />this section„ the permittee shall furnish the Division such plans and specifications which the Division deems reasonably <br />necessary to evaluate the effect on the discharge, the stream, or ground water. If the Division fords that such new or <br />altered discharge might be inconsistent with the conditions of the permit, the Division shall require a new or reviscd <br />permit application and shall follow the procedures specified in Sections 6.6.0 through 6.7.0, and 6.16.0 of the <br />Regulations for the State Discharge Permit System. <br />
