Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Division has reviewed Trapper Mining Inc.'s Third Quarter 2005 Sediment Pond Inspection reports. <br />TMI's third quarter 2005 sediment pond reports were received by the Division on September 22, 2005. <br />Timely submittal of these reports is in compliance with Rule 4.05.9(17). Sediment pond inspections were <br />conducted by TMI on September 16, 19, and 21, 2005. <br />Two ponds were reported discharging at the NPDES point at the time they were inspected. These ponds <br />include No Name No. 5, and East Middle Flume No. 1 Pond. East Pyeatt Pond No. 1 has been cleaned of <br />sediment, is dry and is in good condition. Sage No. 2 Pond sediment mazker has been replaced. <br />Dewatering wells located just west of G-strike pit aze being pumped to Middle Flume No. 1 pond and East <br />Middle Flume No. 1 Pond. This practice is discussed in the permit and is acceptable. No other <br />maintenance items were noted in the reports. Sediment was actively being cleaned out of the Industrial <br />Waste Pond No. 1 (IWP #1) at the time of inspection on September2l, 2005.
