Johnson
Wildlife Biologist
Getty Oil Company
23385 Routt County Road 33
Oak Creek, Colorado 80467
Dear Tercel:
This responds to your December 16, 1983 letter s~arizing the
discussions with Colorado Division of Wildlife, II.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service (IISFWS) and the Bureau of Land Management, re-
garding wildlife data requirements for proposed mining in Tweaty-
mile Park. Ia addition to the six items presented in your letter
you need to address how the operation may affect threatened and
endangered species. I have attached an endangered species reminder
which outlines simple steps to accomplish your assessment.
While your November 16, 1983 meeting "highlighted" some special
concerns, keep in mind that your permit application must contain
enough information to demonstrate compliance with the Section 4.18
performance standards. I appreciate your early coordination on this
permit and am confident your submittal will meet the high standards
exhibited in your previous efforts.
Please contact me if you have additional questions.
Sincerely,
1 ) b''YL NQM~rL~l~
Don Henne
Wildlife Biologist
Enclosure
J
