i
new monitoring well was installed during 1990. Well GMP-1 was
installed approximately 600 feet south of GP-5 and well GMP-1 is
completed in the HI aquifer. .Table 1-1 presents basic well data
for all wells monitored in 1990.
Springs with greater than 5 gpm are required to be monitored
to further define the ground-water quality. The flow from the
springs were all less than 5 gpm during 1990.
Table 1-2 presents the pit and well dewatering data and volume
of water used for dust depression for Trapper Mine for 1990. This
data shows that, on an average, approximately 48 and 17 gpm were
pumped from the Trapper Mine pits and dewatering wells
respectively. The D pit dewatering in 1989 was greater than three
• times the 1990 while the Dwell dewatering was very similar in 1989
and 1990. This data is useful in interpreting water-level changes.
Surface-water flow and quality have been monitored at the
Flume, Pyeatt, Johnson, No Name, Coyote and Buzzard sites during
1990. The Johnson, No Name, Buzzard, Coyote, West Buzzard, Ute,
Pyeatt and East Pyeatt sites are at Trapper's NPDES sites 001, 002,
003, 005, 006, 008, 009 and 011, respectively.
•
1-2
