(, ~~ I.: iG
Re: Planned Reduction in Supplemental Inspections, West Cell of
Fish Creek Borehole Facilities: Permit C-82-056. Foidel Creek Mine
Dear Mr. Gorham;
This letter is to notify the Division of TCC's intention to reduce
the number of supplemental pond inspections to one per month in
addition to the normal quarterly inspections for the first quarter
of 1994, after which time the inspections will revert to the normal
quarterly inspection only. Monitoring of the site since the repair
activities conducted earlier this fall has indicated no further
seepage at this time. It is anticipated that the water level in
the west cell will be balanced with the other two cells later this
month, but this may be delayed until later this spring depending
upon operational needs and treatment plans. TCC will assume that
the planned reduction in supplemental sampling is acceptable unless
the Division indicates otherwise.
Should you have any questions or comments, please contact me at
your convenience.
Sincerely,
Ma~~~" ddleton~
Environmental Specialist
file:\mam\tcc\115insp.int
