Reschke, PE, do hereby certify that the raconsttuction of the Cameo Refuse
Disposal Area 2 (CRDA 2) diversion ditch was consavctcd in accordance with plans
subaritted to and approved by Ore Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology as
Technical Revision No. 24, CRDA 2 Diversion This design car- be found on Pages
CRDA2-12 through CRDAZ_13q, Appendix 13-2, Volume 3, of Pawderhorn's Mining
end Rxlamation Permit Application No, C•81-041.
Reconstnu'tlomofrhe ditch began January 20, 1998 and was completed on January 22,
1998. The ditch was graded with both trapemidal end V-0itch configurations.
i;ievations were tsilcea on the inside of ditch and the upper embaakmeln on 50' intervals
along the 2200' of ditch to verify that the grade was within design 1'unitations and that the
outside embenknteat height was adaquate.to meot the design flow depth. Elevations were
takca at other locations between the 50' stations if thta+e was any question about the grade
or embankment height The resulting grades ware gaactally 025°i6 m 0.5% with a few
short intervals between 1.09ro end 2.0'~ (all steeper grades were within the ataximum
allowable far that segment of ditch). There were a few low spots (leas than 9'~ tlral ware
]ell but qre was taken to make sue the adjacent embaalaacnt was adequate to handle the
resulting higher flow depth. These low spots will silt-into grade sometime in the future.
~~
,~:,=
,~. ~ ~~~ t Z'2-qty
:,,
