SENECA COAL COMPANY NOTICE OF BLASTING SCHEDULE YOAST MINE • The Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979 (34-33-101 et seg.) and the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, and in particular Rule 4.08.3, requires all surface coal mines detonating more than five (51 pounds of explosives or blasting agent to publish a schedule of blasting In accordance with the above-stated regulatory requirements. In accordance with these requirements, the Yoast Mine, located southeast of Hayden, Colorado hereby provides public notice of the planned blasting schedule for the arealsl described below. 1. Specific Area(s) 1.A. Blasting Site 1 -The center of the blasting area is approximately located State: Colorado Township: 5N County: Routt Range: 87W Latitude: 40° 23' 36.6" Section: 17 Longitude: 107° 10' 13.1" Meridian: 6th The blasting area will encompass an irregularly shaped area approximately 5462 feet northwesterly and southeasterly and 2800 feet northeasterly and southwesterly. 1.B. Blasting Site 2 -The center of the blasting area is approximately located: State: Colorado Township: 5N County: Routt Range: 87W • Latitude: Longitude: 40° 24' 20" 107° 10' 30.1" Section: Meridian: 8 6th The blasting area will encompass an irregularly shaped area approximately 5600 feet northerly and southerly and 300 feet easterly and westerly. 1.C. Blasting Site 3 -center of the blasting area is approximately located: State: Colorado Township: 5N County: Aoutt Range: 87W Latitude: 40° 23' 18.2" Section: 17 Longitude: 107° 10' 47.1" Meridian: 6th The blasting area will encompass an irregular shaped area approximately 6500 feet north and south and 4000 feet east and west. 1.D. Blasting Site 4 -center of the blasting is approximately located: State: Colorado Township: 5N County: Routt Range: 87W Latitude: 40° 22' 30" Section: 19 Longitude: 107° 11' 04.7" Meridian: 6th The blasting area will encompass an irregular shaped area approximately 4000 feet north and south and 4000 feet east and west. 2. Dates and Times Commencing on the day of blasting in the approved areas shall be accomplished between sunrise and sunset, Monday through Saturday of the week. • Operational considerations such as equipment breakdowns, temporary changes in delivery schedules, local strikes, etc. may dictate that blasting not be accomplished on some days.
