at Colorado Yampa Coal Company

in regards to David Shelton's memo dated July 13,
professional certification of roads as having been
inspected and monitored in accordance with regulation
Colorado Yampa Coal Company (CYCC) is submitting the following
information to comply with this requirement.
CYCC has seven haulroads and three access roads which have been
certified in accordance with 4.031. See attached maps M1, M2 and
Haulroads for road locations and current certification status.
Haulroads A, B, C, E, and E-1, and access roads F, G, and H received
P.E. approval by John Cates on February 5, 1980 in CYCC's original Permit
79-177. The certification is located in Volume 7, Map 35 of Permit 79-
177.
On April 6, 1982, Ed Fidlec, Chief Engineer, certified two
extensions, one to haulroad E and one to access road F. This
certification can be found Ln a Response to Review letter, dated February
25, 1982 and submitted to the CH1.RD on June 24, 1982 under the title,
"State Program Permit Submission 79-117 of Colorado Yampa Coal Company
under the state rule 2.01.3(5).
On August 24, 1984, Che final two haulroads at CYCC were certified
and can be seen on [he attached map Labeled Haulroads.
