Access will be maintained for light traffic on the
southern edge of the excavation for maintenance purposes.
3) The pond currently holds water and is used as a stock watering pond. After
reclamation this pond will remain and if necessazy will be planted with wetland
vegetation at [he appropriate elevation. No earthwork is expected in this azea.
The approximate surface area requiring seeding is 0.75 acres. This faz exceeds
the perimeter of the pond but accounts for any additional seeding that may occur.
4) United commits to staking or mazking the buffer zone prior mining within a
phase.
5) The ramp down from the upper terrace will remain for the life of the mine. The
ramp from the lower terrace to the pit bottom will move with the pit. Initially it
will be within Phase 1. The existing access will be used. Some improvements
maybe necessazy. The length of improvements can be estimated as 1000' by 30'
or approximately 0.7 acres which would require topsoiling and seeding for worst
case bonding.
6) United commits to seeding the slopes with the dry rangeland mix in the topsoiled
azeas.
7) United commits to not mine below the water table until the SWSP and Gravel
Well Permit have been approved. A copy will be supplied to the DMG prior to
mining below the water table.
8) United is awaze of the noxious weeds in the azea and are committed to mitigation
at and azound their pits. They generally contract a local certified weed sprayer for
all weed issues.
