Banta, <br />Division Director <br />We have received your application fora Mining & Reclamation Permit for your <br />surface mining operation in La Plata County. Our initial review indicates <br />that all preliminary items required by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Act, C.R.S. 34-32-101, et seq., have been submitted; thus your application has <br />been deemed complete on~uly 16, 1990. All comment and review time periods <br />initiate from this date. <br />The decision date for your application is August 15, 1990. You should <br />commence publication of a notice of the filing of this application immediately <br />(see enclosed notice format). You must also mail a copy of the notice to all <br />owners of record of surface rights of affected land and immediately adjacent <br />land. You must provide proof of the notice and mailing, such as Certified <br />Mail Return Receipt Requested, to the Mined Land Reclamation Division before <br />the date noted above. You must also place a copy of this application for <br />public review, less confidential items, with the La Plata County Clerk and <br />Recorder. Any subsequent changes or additions to the copies on file in our <br />office must also be made in this local government copy. <br />THE STAFF IS REVIEWING YOUR APPLICATION TO DETERMINE WHETHER IT IS ADEQUATE <br />TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE LAW.
