Topsoil Stockpiles 2,3,4,7, and 8 <br />. With completion of the final gading operations at the North Pit, South Pit, <br />Permanently Reclaimed Spoils Area, roads, and equipment storage area, topsoil will <br />be redistributed from the topsoil stockpiles as identified above. When all topsoil is <br />removed from a given stockpile, sufficient topsoil from the stockpile will be retained <br />to retopsoil the basal area of the topsoil stockpile. Topsoil stockpiles 7 and 8 will <br />retain adequate volumes of topsoil to Retopsoil Sediment Ponds 1 and 2 after the <br />determination that they are no longer required and they have been regaded. <br />Retopsoiled topsoil stockpile locations (footprints of the former stockpile locations) <br />will be revegetated in accordance with the revegetation plan. In the event that there <br />is topsoil in excess of that required to replace a maximum of 12-18 inches of topsoil <br />on the disturbed areas of the Carbon Junction l~fine, excess topsoil may be replaced <br />on adjacent disturbed and/or reclaimed azeas owned by Oakridge Energy on Ewing <br />Mesa to facilitate needs under the approved post-mining land uses. Until it is <br />used, any excess topsoil will remain stabilized in one or more topsoil stockpiles. <br />Reconstruction of Carbon .function Canyon <br />The restoration of the Cazbon Junction drainage will be part of the final reclamation <br />plan and is bonded for the cost of the work. The work involves a diversion of 1962 <br />feet that will be riprap lined and will have one culvert crossing under the main access <br />road.
