9.
10.
11.
12.
13.
The dirt berm along the Eastern side of the property will be approximately 5-8
feet high and 10 ft wide and will be approximately 175 feet long . It will be
approximately 400 cubic yazds total. The stockpile of topsoil on the Western and
Northern side of the property will be approximately 8-10 feet high,l0-12 feet
across and 300 feet total. It will be approximately 1100 cubic yards. There will
be approximately 3500 cubic yazds of material used to build the berm. The berm
will be will built out of topsoil and the overburden, which will be segregated. The
topsoil will be in the North Western corner and the overburden will be in the
Northern Eastern side.
The stormwater sump will be approximately 9,782 cubic feet. It will be
approximately 100 feet by 100 feet by 1.5 feet in depth.
The discrepancy between the map and the Section 6.3.3 (i) has been reconciled;
please see the revised map which shows a keyhole in the NW corner of the
project. The keyhole will preserve the positive drainage offsite.
The maximum anticipated amount of topsoil on-site at all times will be
approximately 1613-2016 cubic yards.
The maximum anticipated amount of construction stockpile material onsite will
be approximately 8066 cubic yards.
The corrected 6.3.4.1 (b) will read "The fmal maximum gradient of the reclaimed
slopes will not exceed 3:1 (horizontal to vertical ratio)." (Corrections aze in
italics). A copy of the document is enclosed.
A copy of the approved S WMP is enclosed.
Please see the reclamation map for detail on location of the dirt berms and
stormwater sump. The dirt berms and storm water sump are going to used to
control sedimentation into Hazdscrabble Creek. The type of soil found on-site
will allow the storm water that is contained on-site to infiltrate into the
groundwater within 72 hours. The owner/operator understands that the storm
water must not be detained on the property more than 72 hours. The berm and
other disturbed soil azeas will be seeded and covered with straw or mulch to
control erosion.
14. The owner of record of the easement described in Section 6.3.3 (g) is the
applicant. The improvements to this easement will be reclaimed. The corrected
Section 6.3.3 (g) will read "The existing County Road 835C is approximately 14
feet wide and it is not anticipated that this road will require any improvements.
The easement to access the property is approximately .06 acres and that acreage is
included in the application. The easement will be improved to approximately 15
feet wide and graveled. The owner/operator is also the property owner of the
easement and the property within the easement The operator plans to reclaim
the easement access once the mining is completed.
There aze no anticipated issues with water run-off. The water will be allowed to
run-off as part of the natural flow. If in constructing any new roads and culverts
aze necessary, the drainage area will be taken into consideration when sizing the
culverts." (Corrections aze in italics).
