remit No. co~saoota <br />CDPS GENERAL PERMIT <br />FOR SAND AND GRAVEL MDJING AND PROCESSING <br />(AND OTHER NONMETALLIC MINERALS EXCEPT FUEL) <br />AUTHORIZATION TO DISCHARGE UNDER THE <br />COLORADO DISCHARGE PERMIT SYSTEM <br />Incompliance with the provisions ofthe Colorado Want Quality Control Act, (25-8-101 et seq., CRS,1973 as amended) and the Federal Water Pollution <br />Control Act, as amended (33 U.S.C. 1251 et seq.; the "Act"), this pemtit authorizer the discharge of process water and storrttwater associated with <br />opewtions rngaged in mining and processing of sand and gravel (including rock and stone used as aggrcgate), and mining and quarryntg of other <br />nonmetallic minerals except fuels, ccnified under this perrrrit, from those locations specified throughout the State of Colorado to specified waters of the <br />State. Such discharges shall be in aewrdaace with the conditions of this pertrtit . <br />This pemtit specifically authorizes the faaliry listed on page I of this pemrit to discharge process water andlor stormwater associated with operatiorta <br />engaged m mining and processing of sand and gravel (including rock and starve used as aggregate), and mining and quarrying of other nonmetallic <br />mincrals except fuels, as of this dau, in accmdmtce with the pcmtit requirements and conditions cat forth in Parts I and II hereof. All discharges <br />sutharized herein shall be oonsistrnt with the terms and conditions of this permit <br />Any party may demand an adjtulicatDry hearing within thirty (30) days of the issuance of this genets! permit determination, per the Colorado <br />Discharge Penmit System Regutariotu, Regulation No. 61(5 CCR I002-6I). Should the applieaatchoose m contest any ofthe effiueat lirttimctmti, <br />tnonitorirtg regttircmeats or other conditions watained herein, the applicant must comply with Section 24-4-104 CRS and the Colorado Discharge <br />Permit System Regulatioffi.
