Cottony <br />Division DIrCCYOr <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />First quarter 2007 sediment pond inspection reports were received by DMG on April 5, 2007. Second quarter <br />2007 sediment pond inspections were conducted on May 30, 2007. Most of the ponds were dry. NGne water <br />treatment ponds, 5-P5, 5-P6 and 5-P7, Outfall No. 003 dischazged during second quazter 2007, The operator <br />noted that minor maintenance is needed Eor rodent burrows at HR-Pl as well as spraying for weed control. <br />Burrow repair was conducted at Pond 5.1-P1 and Pond 9-P5. Weed spraying is scheduled for June 2007 at the <br />wastewater treatment pond to control Houndstongue. <br />Copies of the quarterly reports need to be maintained at the mine office and at the Division's office as per Rule <br />4.05.9(17).
