The Lorimer County P]anniny Corrunission on October 10, <br />1979 recommended conditional approval of the proposed use. <br />On November 28, 1979, in the County Board Hearing Room <br />of the Lorimer County Court.hoccse, Fort Collins, Colorado, the <br />Board of County Commissioners conducted a public hearing on the <br />s},ecial review. The Roard of County Commissioners having. heard <br />the testimony and evidence adduced at said hearing and having <br />considered and carefully weighed the same now makes the following <br />findings: <br />1. The special review request for a sand and gravel <br />extraction pit, a concrete batch plant and asphalt batch plant <br />upon the following described property was advertised in a local <br />newspaper of general circulation as .required by law. <br />2. The general characteristics of the property are as <br />follows: <br />a. Location: Sections 11, 12 ~ 13-6-68; North <br />of Highway 392, west of: the '~.ariuiFr- lJe"ld County line. <br />b. Area: 290 acres. <br />C. Existing land use: Fa nning. <br />d. Surrounding kind use: Farming. <br />e. Surrornxling zoning: FA-1 Farming. <br />3. The Windsor Pltrn,,.ing Couw,ission reviewed the request <br />and recommended that it be conditionally approved. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
