Soils In this site are dark brown to very dark brown sandy <br />loam to light clay loam acid top soil to 20 inches thick. <br />The subsoil Ts a moderately strong structured clay loam to <br />light clay, one to four feet thick. It is moderately <br />permeable; lime zone is deep. There may be a number of <br />stones or cobble throughout the profile. The soil Is very <br />favorable for plant growth. <br />b.
