Pueblo Coal Inc. (the operator) and the Colorado Division of Mined Land
Reclamation (the Division) hereby enter into the following agreement in regard
to continuation of the review time period for renewal of Permit C-82-054 for
the Carbon Junction Mine beyond the 180 day timeframe specified in Section
119(2) of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act (Act). Violation
of the timetables or conditions set forth below will constitute sufficient
reason far the Division to go forward with a proposed decision to deny the
renewal application or the applicant to petition the Mined Land Reclamation
Board (the Board) for a hearing on the issues.
