'~': ... , response to your January 14, 1986 letter made in Camp Bird's discharge flow con- There have been no changes made in our flow configuration at this time. Discharge Points 001, 002, 003, and 004 remain in their same respective locations (see enclosed map), The construction of the northeast tailings pond extention has resulted in a seep water berm and evaporation pond. The net effect of the construction will. be the discharge from outfall 003 will flow into the evaporation pond. Since we have not discharged from outfall 003 for 10 years we do not anticipate any problems from this change, The separate matter of the weir configuration of outfalls 001 and 004 being unlevel and not having sharp crests is being addressed at this time, Sharp level crests will be installed within the next 30 to 60 days, We are now planning a settling pond to combine outfalls 001 and 004 (see enclosed map for location of proposed { pond site). In addition we wish to move the 003 outfall j location . Our present plan calls for the construction of a pond in the general vacinity of the present 004 outfall, The present discharge from*outfall 001 will be piped to the pond for settling and then discharged to the newly located 004-001 combined outfall.
