Lamm <br />Governor <br />April 29, 1985 <br />Mr. Clint Williams <br />C & C Sand Company <br />2635 Steel Drive <br />Colorado Springs, Colorado 80907 <br />Re: C & C Sand Company, "Red Canyon Quarry", file No. M-85-043 <br />Dear Mr. Williams: <br />On April 25, 1985, the Mined Land Reclamation Board approved the limited <br />impact 110 permit for the above captioned operation and set the amount of the <br />financial warranty at $5,000.00. Upon our receipt and approval of a <br />performance warranty and a financial warranty in the amount given above, a <br />permit for this operation will be issued to your company. <br />Please be advised that the application was approved by the Board with the <br />following two stipulations: <br />1. "The operator will submit the Colorado Division of Wildlife <br />evaluation of the permit area as soon as it is available and agrees to <br />incorporate any and all mitigative measures suggested in that <br />evaluation into the approved permit application. These mitigative <br />measures may be reconsidered by the Board at a later time." <br />2. "The operator will submit a plan for the on-site disposal of reject <br />fines/waste rack that provides for stability of the disposal pile and <br />for integrity of the drainage.
