May we make some addtttonal requests for Information: <br />1. Long term or post mining drainage- Has tonstderatton been given <br />for the affects of drainage Into and/or out of the pit and the means <br />for contro)ltng samet For Instance the runoff or a flood stage <br />sttuatton. <br />2. Have any studies been made to determine the quantity of inflow <br />from the pit wailsl <br />;. Could you provide a stratlgraphtc profile of~ the area to de- <br />lineate the thickness of the overburden and the relationship of <br />the memebers of the Morrison formation. <br />4. Could you provide cross seettons of the pit as it will be In the <br />future across the NW direction of the tong axis of the pit as well <br />es one at 90o to this across the short axis. This would indicate <br />the proflii of the benches and the extent of backfilting. <br />5. Soils description -The Boll thickness descrtptiart are general. <br />Has arty study been made to determine the soil thickness on the Tow <br />area of the site as ++~etl as the high areas of the stteT <br />6. There has been a request for totter to adequately characterize <br />the effect of the operation on the hyddologic balance (that Is the <br />quantity and quaitty of surface and subsurface water flowing Into <br />
