Reclamation Permit Application
Dear Mr. Russell:
On May 5, 1995, the Division of Minerals and Geology received your application
package for a Limited Impact Operation (110) Reclamation Permit for the Bachus
Pit, File No. M-95-034. Preliminary review determined that the following items
must be submitted before your application can be considered submitted and
technical review can begin:
Exhibit I - Proof of Filinv with the County Clerk (Rule 6.3 9): You must
provide an affidavit or receipt from the Alamosa County Clerk and Recorder
stating the date on which the County Clerk placed the entire application
package for public review.
You must submit proof of mailing or proof of personal service of the
"Notice of Permit Application" forms to the Alamosa County Board of
Commissioners and to the Board of Supervisors of the local Soil
Conservation District if the area to be permitted is in a Soil Conservation
District.
Rule 1.6.2 (1)(b) (Effective Mav 1, 1995): You must post a notice at the
location of the proposed mine site of sufficient size to clearly identify
the site as the location of a proposed mining operation giving your name,
address, and phone number, and stating that you have applied for a mining
permit with the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board. Your notice must
also state that anyone wishing to comment on the application may view the
application at .the Alamosa County Clerk and Recorder's Office and should
send comments prior to the end of the public comment period to the Colorado
Mined Land Reclamation Division, Room 215, 1313 Sherman St, Denver,
Colorado 80203.
You need to post this notice at the location of the proposed access to the
site.
After posting this notice you must provide a signed affidavit that such
notice has been posted according to the provisions of this Rule and submit
the affidavit to the Division.
I have enclosed a copy of the new Mineral Rules and Regulations and a copy of the
Statement of Basis, Statutory Authority and Purpose for your use- The Statement
of Basis and Purpose indicates the Rule changes that became ef£ecti ve on
May 1, 1995.
