RECLAMATION COST ESTIMATE
This is a Yuma County mining operation and Rule 4.1.2 (2)
relieves the county of providing a Financial warranty. The
following Reclamation Cost estimate in based on the assumption
that there will be no more that 9.99 acres ± disturbed at any one
time. it also assumes, that when it comes time to resoil the
area, an average of 10 inch of soil would be spread over the
disturbed area. At that time we will have to respread 13,580
cubic yards of topsoil. No sloping will be necessary because the
exterior slopes will be done as mining progresses. The time when
it would be most expensive to reclaim the site is when mining
ends and only resoiling and revegetation is needed. The table
below outlines the various areas of disturbance at the time
explained above. The areas needing work in this analysis are
shown on the Reclamation Map -Map Exhibit E-2 on the Map Plat. A D-9 dozer
will be used to do the shaping and resoiling. The revegetation
cost figure used includes fertilizer, grass seed, labor and
drilling costs.
STAGE TOTAL SOIL DEPTH
NEEDING RES OILING 9.06 1 O°
REVEG STATION AREA 9.06
RES OIL a~ 1 O~ 13.5G1 cU Bic vAROs
EST/MATED UN/T COSTS FOR RECLAMAT/ON ITEMS:
Unit Cost
1.
