IDENTIFICATION: Sedimentation Pond r~'"~~ I I~ l
DATE OF INSPECTION: March 10, 1999 ~ S~}' U'
LOCATION: Section 36, T33S, R64W, 6th P.M.
Las Animas County, Colorado
COMMENTS: No hazardous conditions exist at the pond and there aze no indications of erosion of the
dike or on the banks of the sediment pond. The area that was previously dredged is cleazly visible, i.e.
the south half of the pond. The principal spillway structure was not visible due to a heavy growth of
cattails, but it appears the pond water level is very low.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Monitor the banks of the sediment pond for signs of erosion into the pond and
observe quarterly for vegetation.
[, Santiago Romero Jr., Colorado Professional Engineer No. 20068, state that this report hereon was
prepared by myself and is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and from information provided
by others. _~,~
Santiago Romero J7P.E.
enclosed: 27 photos of the site.
zeoae
