hereinafter referred to as Lessee:
IdITNBSSETH: Lessor, for and in consideration of the sum of forty-three
thousand forty hundred fifty-four and 25!100 Dollars (843.454.25), receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged as payment of the filing fee in the amount of
114.25, first year's rant in the amount of 1240.00, and a bonus in the amount
of j49.200.00, and in further eonaideratlon of Laaaee'a agreement to
pay one and no/100 Dollar(s) (8~) per acre annually as rental in advance of
the anniversary date of this laaae so long as acid lease shall remain in
affect; and in further consideration of the terms, conditions and agreements
herein and of the payments of annual rentals and royalties reserved herein, to
be kept and performed by Lasses, its successors and assigns, does hereby lease
to Lessee the right and privilege of exploring and prospecting for, and mining
of end taking of Clav (Brick. Tile. Ceramics, etc.) minerals from the lands

Access to this lease will be restricted to the period from November 1 through
the following January 31 or a similar throe-month period to be mutually agreed
upon by the state or its mineral lessee and the officer of the Government
having jurisdiction over the premises.

containing 240.00 acres, more or less, together with the right to use as much
of the surface as may be reasonably required in the exercise of the right to
mine, including strip mining, in situ solution mining, and heap leaching; and
the right to reasonable ingress and egress; the right to construct buildings,
make excavations, stockpiles, dumps, drains, roads, railroads, poNerlines,
pipelines, and other improvements as may be reasonably necessary in the mining
• and removal of said minerals; subject, however, to all existing easaawnta and
rights-of-ray of--third parties, and the rights of surface laaaeaa and surface
patentees, and further subject to the terms, conditions and agreamenta sat out
in this lease. The above-mentioned rights may be exercised in connection with
mining on other or adjacent lands only when mining on ouch lands is carried on
