We would like to request a echnical <br />review of an approved application to adjust the bond as!you stated <br />was possible in our telephone conversation of August 26~ 1986. <br />A chain link fence has been installed along the pe imeter <br />of the property by the owner and operator. To facilita a the <br />installation of this fence, finish grading in areas out ide of <br />the embankments was required. We estimate the cost of he re- <br />maining finished grading outside the embankments will b reduced <br />considerably compared to the original estimate submitted. (See <br />Exhibit 1). <br />The south side and most of the northeast corner of the <br />property can remain undisturbed, as a result of the min~ng <br />operation, thereby reducing considerably the acreage of top- <br />soiling and reseeding necessary. This reduction result$ in an <br />estimated 8.9 acres now being classified as disturbed lend to be <br />reseeded. <br />The cost of fencing repair and general cleanup can be re- <br />duced since a new fence has already been installed by t~je owner <br />and operator. The general cleanup and finished grading has been <br />accomplished in this same area. <br />We also request the cost of the 600 American Plum hrubs <br />and 200 Red Cedar saplings be deleted from the reclamation cost <br />bond. The trees and shrubs are to provide a visual screen of <br />the property. The owner and operator intends to follow the <br />
