charge for the dirt. <br />12. We purchased this forty acres to. build a home on. We have seen <br />that there is a large number of wildlife in the area that have no place <br />to water. Our plan was to build a reservoir for water for the wildlife and <br />our own livestock. <br />We feel that it will be very beneficial to the area. It will be beautiful <br />when completed. <br />We don't want piles and mounds of dirt around the reservoir. This <br />would take away from its beauty. There is not place to put this dirt on <br />the rest of the property, so we would like to be able to haul it away. <br />13. We contacted the Montrose Soil Conservation Office, The Montrose <br />Water Court Division and the Montrose Land Use Office. All of these <br />offices told us that no permits were required from them and that since the <br />dirt belonged to us we could do whatever we needed to get rid of it. We <br />explained what we wanted to do and they all thought that it was a very <br />good idea. By contacting these offices we did not know that we were <br />violating any law. <br />14. There are no state, federal, or local agencies participating in terms of <br />funding. <br />We have answered these questions in hopes that you will understand what our <br />intentions are. We apologize if we have done anything wrong but going <br />through the l~xal agencies no one mentioned to us that we would need to <br />contact you as well.
