Lons <br />1204 East OllVe Dlvlvon Director <br />Lamar, CO 81052 <br />RE: Hearing Process, All Rife Paving and Redi-Mix, North River Pit, 112 Reclamation Permit <br />Application, File No. M-99-005 <br />Dear Mr. Gorman: <br />The Division has received objections to approval of All Rite Paving and Redi-Mix. Inc.'s 112 reclamation <br />permit application for theft proposed North River Pit sand and gravel mining operation. When timely <br />ohjections to an application are received by the Division, a three step hearing process is initiated. <br />The first step, an Informal Conference, was held in La Iunta on May l4, 1999. The next part of the process <br />will be aPre-Hearing Conference conducted by a representative of the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Board. The date for that conference will be determined after the board selects a Conference Officer at its <br />May 27-28, 1999 meeting. Under [he present application review schedule, the date will be between <br />June 4, and Jttne 14, 1999. I will inform you of the date, time and place as soon as possible. At the <br />conference, the Conference Officer will develop a Draft Order for the full Board to consider in conducting <br />the final Formal Public Hearing, on the application. <br />The Formal Public Hearing, under the present permit application review schedule, will be held during the <br />Board's June 22-23. 1999 meeting, in room 318. 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado. You should call <br />the Division office June 18`h or 21~' to find out which day [he hearing will be held. <br />Prior to the Pre-hearing Conference the Division will send its recommendation regarding approval or denial <br />of the application and the rationale supporting the recorrunenda[ion to the Board and all parties [o the <br />hearing process. <br />Pease call if you have questions. <br />Sincerely, <br />Larry D.
