Long <br />Divimnn Direcor <br />THIS PERMIT is issued by the Mined Land Reclamation Board, Departrnent of Natural Resources. <br />State of Colorado. <br />RECITALS <br />A. The Pemtittee, American Soda, L.L.P. desires to conduct a mining operation I:novvn as Yankee <br />Gulch Minerals Project, for the purpose of extracting carbonates. The Permittee vv~ll not mine any secondary <br />commodities at this site. <br />B. On June 23. 1999 the Mined Land Reclamation Board (the "Board") approved the Pemvttee's <br />application for this permit, fixed [he amount of the fmancial warranty and directed that [his permit be issued <br />upon the filing with the Division of Minerals and Geology (the "Division") of performance warran[<~ and <br />financial warranty (or warranties) in the amount so fixed in form and substance approved by the Division. Said <br />warranties have been filed with the Division. <br />C. it the Pemtittee desires to extract materials other than those listed in (A), a separate permit mav_ <br />be required. <br />D. On June 23, 1999 the Board made the following findings: <br />I. The application for this pem»t complies with the requirements of the Colorado Mined <br />Land Reclamation Act. C.R.S. 34-32-101 et sec.. as amended, and with all applicable local. state and federal <br />Iavv s: <br />2. The operation vv~ll not adverseh affect the stability of any significant, valuable, and <br />permanent man-made swc[ure located vv~thin two hundred feet of the Affected Land, except where there is an <br />agreement between the Operator and the persons having an interest in the structure that damage to the structure <br />is to be compensated for by the Permittee; and: <br />
