Size in acres of the area or areas to be worked at any one time by Applicant: Parcel 1 - Stockpile dnd Processing Area, encompasses 32.78 acres by the leg~j description in Item 3 above, however, only 22.50 acres will be affected by stockpiling and processing activities in this area, including the space needed for haul roads. No Open Mining is planned for this area, but the area will eventually be terraced for building sites. This area will be used continuously in varying degree of activity as a support facility for the open mining operation in the Parcel 2 - Extraction Area.=~'.-.:~~ Parcel 2 - Extraction Area, which encompasses 42.94 acres by the legal description in Item 3 above, is scheduled for the orderly reduction of fhe surface in various size sections to accommodate practical quarry procedures. No specific alloted time has been determined for working any particular section, nor will the size of any section remain constant. The normal size of any section to be worked at any one time is approximately 4 acres or less. 12. Set out a time table giving the periods of time which will be required for the various stages of operation: The object of this operation is to provide terraces suitable for building sites. Exhibit B, an attached part of this application and refered to in Item I3-a „ indicates the contemplated size and shape of the terraces proposed for the entire project, including those within but not limited to, Parcel - 1 Stockpile and Processing Area and Parcel -2 Extraction Area Phase 1. Terracing of Parcel - I will not be completed until extraction has been completed in Parcel - 2 Extraction Area Phase 1 and subsequent adjacent open mining operations, and there is no longer a need for stockpiling and processing facilities. The following timetable indicates the anticipated completion dates for the terraces, roads, and highwalls within Parcel -2 Extraction Area Phase 1; Terrace No. 3 and part of West Highwall Dec. 1, 1975 Terrace No. 2 and part of Roads Dec. 1, 1976 Terrace No. 1, balance of Roads, balance of West Highwall, and the Highwalls between terraces July 1, 1978
